My favorite Japanese CMs

It’s Sunday morning here and I just woke up and saw one strange CM.  Actually, every so often a strange CM gets aired every once and a while and I call these CMs the WTF!? CM.  So back to the CM I saw just 30 minutes ago.  This CM is from SUNTORY and their promotion of their 100% vegetable juice drink I love vegi.  The CM just came out March 24th and I wonder if there will be a series of this particular CM.  Usually there are.  Here’s the CM for your viewing pleasure (or displeasure since I don’t know really what to make out of this CM, hence the WTF!? CM tag)  Hey, it could be just me but I’m pretty confident that people will see this CM and feel the same way as me.

女性「あなたなんて好きにならなければよかった」

Girl: It’s strange that I fell in love with you, but I’m glad.

ベジ「それは、僕が野菜だからかい？」

Vegi: Is it because I’m a vegetable?

女性「あんなに・・・嫌いだったのに」

Girl:  Do you not like me that much?

ベジ「そういうものみたいだよ、恋愛」

Vegi:  It’s like that you know, love that is.

女性「ねぇ、ベジ」

Girl:  Hey Vegi…

ベジ「ん？」

Vegi: Yeah?

女性「もし、もしもよ、私たちに子どもができたらさぁ・・・」

Girl:  If…If we have kids…

ベジ「え？」

Vegi: Huh?

女性「人間かなぁ・・・野菜かなぁ」

Girl:  Wonder if they’ll be human…or vegetable
