My favorite Japanese CMs

From one of Japan’s favorite snack companies, Glico (makers of POCKY) created a CM of the lovely characters of Sazae-san, all grown up and 25 years later. The purpose of the CM is to advertise for the Otona Glico product line or in other words, the adult product line.

What makes this CM really interesting are the famous actors and actresses playing the roles of the Sazae-san characters.

Wakame, the younger sister of Sazae, is played by the ever so lovely Rie Miyazawa.
I <3 Rie Miyazawa. Sazae’s son, Tara-chan, is played by Eita in the CM, while Shun Oguri plays the role of Ikura-chan. And finally, Katsuo is played by Asano Tadanobu.

If you noticed at the end of the CM, their cat, Tama, also makes an appearance…however, in the parentheses it notes that it is the third Tama (^_^;)
