My favorite Japanese CMs

First of all, the Softbank Marketing Department is earning their pay.  The Softbank CMs are unforgettable.  This one is strange enough, yet memorable enough for me to get the song(s) and commercial itself stuck in my head.

The first song is a remake of 中尾ミエ「可愛いベイビー」 Nakao Mie’s song Kawaii Baby which just happens to be a cover of Connie Francis “Pretty Little Baby.” It was a hit single in 1963 and reached no. 1 on the charts.  Not a bad song.  I’m keen to classic songs (^^).  The second song is by つのだ☆ひろ「メリージェーン」Tsunada Hiro’s Mary Jane on My Mind. Not really my kind of song, so that’s all the info I’ll give .  But hey, it’s a classic to some.

This CM put a smile on my face.  A great CM.  A real treat for you Morning Musume fans out there (^_-)*

It looks like a normal commercial at first, and then it becomes shocking.  Kinda like Jaws the movie.  This is one F*CKED UP commercial.  Long life program eh?  Whatever they’re advertising, not sure I’d want to buy from this company.  But for comedic purposes, this CM ispriceless (^_^)

The girl was just introducing herself and saying nice to meet you.  Apparently the acoustic guitar playing lamb hand puppet had other ideas.
